Okay so it's been awhile since I've written, but basically everything is the same. I am still working at Walmart, I am now in the Money Center though. I am technically assigned to the Service Desk, but I only work in there about one time a month. I haven't worked in the Service Desk for about a month so maybe I'll be in there again soon.
Gabe is doing awesome in school! He is learning so much and he is doing so good in school! I couldn't be more proud of him. He just came into my room and looked at my night stand and asked if he could have some pennies. So I gave him 3 pennies and 1 nickle. He lined them all up on the floor and then started counting them. He says "One, two, three, four. You take one away and you have one, two, three, and you take one away and you have, one, two. Then you take one away and you have one. Then you take one away and you have none."
I was so proud, he is 4 years old and he is starting to do math!
So I tried to take some pictures of Gabriel but he was being a dork and he didn't want to take them. So I will post the pics in order of when I took them.
Really he was there when I pushed the button to take the picture. As soon as I clicked the button he dropped to the floor.
Then we had a little play and he wouldn't open his eyes, then when I got him to open his eyes he covered his eyes. Little fart.
This last picture is what we finally got too.
He is so disappointed that Aviana will no longer be in his class. I think, even though those two argue so much, they really get along. I think he is gonna miss her more than we thought he would. Hopefully he will still do okay in school.
Another update is that I am planning on moving back to Portland in the spring. I need to stay in my position at Walmart for 6 months with no coachings, write ups. That way I can just transfer to a Walmart in Portland, so I'll have a job when I get there, then I can look for a different one that is closer to my chosen field. I cannot wait to get there! I love Midland, but Portland feels more like home to me then anywhere else.
Well that's it for now. I'll try to update more often, but no promises.

First day of school!
:Well today is Gabe's first day of school. We woke up at 7:00am and he was dressed and ready to go by 7:15, but we waited until 7:30 to go, since the doors do not open until 7:45. We still got there early and had to wait outside. He was such a big boy, he was nervous, but I could only tell that because he was really quiet and really lovey, he wanted to hold my hand and kept laying his head on my leg. We got to his classroom and he hung up his back pack and I gave him a kiss and walked out, He sat on his little square, a blue one cause that's his favorite color, and just waved at me as I left. I walked out and tried, and succeeded, to not cry.
Now I am sitting at home. In my room. Trying to figure out what to do. I have to do homework and since I have all day I figure I'll work on that, and probably take a bath, and paint my toenails. Doesn't that soun like fun?
Last night I asked Dad if he would give Gabe a blessing, so that he would be able to do well in school. Dad got done with Gabe and then Avi wanted one, so she got one too, then Laura and then Lynzie. So all the kids got a blessing, then we did Brit's tradition of holding hands and saying a prayer. It was very nice and really helped with all of our nerves, at least mine. I love that even though we are 2 different religions we can still find comfort in each others prayers, even though they were very different.
We were going to walk to school this morning, but since they all had to bring so much stuff we decided that we would drive, so last night I went out to the van and cleaned it out. So it was all nice and clean. Not that anyone saw it because we parked down the road a little ways and walked to the school.
Well here are some pictures of the kids in their school clothes.
We have more of the two big girls, but I don't have them right now. So I'll post those later.
Now I'll add some from this morning, when they were outside getting ready to load up in the cars.
Well now I have to work on homework. Wish Gabe, and me, luck on the first day of school.

I'M DONE!!!
Well I have finished my associates degree, and now I am working on my BA program. The BA program is a lot different than the Associates program. With the AA I had 2 classes that lasted for 9 weeks, and each class was worth 3 credits, I needed 30 credits to get my AA. We also had Discussion Questions, which are just questions the teacher would post in the main forum and we would have to answer with 2 posts on 4 out of 7 days.
Well the BA program is way different than that. I know have 1 class that lasts 5 weeks, I need 60 credits for this program, thankfully I already have the 30 from my AA so in reality I only need 30 credits, and these classes are also worth 3 credits. We have DQs every week in this class and we also have to post with 2 posts 4 out of 7 days. Now the weird part is that we have something called Learning Teams. There are about 5-7 people per team and we have assignments that we have to work together on and get them turned in on time with all the necessary information. It is pretty cool. I like that I have other people that I can count on, and I have realized in the last 2 weeks, since I started the class, that I can really count on a few of the people in my team. Of course there are always a few that have a hard time getting on, and unfortunately I am one of those sometimes. But I have gotten everything turned in and on time.
Well that's enough, I am sitting here on my bed surrounded by 6 little kids, we are listening to The Perfect Two by Auburn, and we just listened to Firework by Katy Perry. I have listened to that song so much that Gabe can sing it.
Here are 5 of the 6 that are on my bed. Bubba left and then came back.

Almost Done!!!!
I have 4 days left in my final class of my associates degree. I am so tired of school. I cannot wait until I'm done. Unfortunately the school website is down, it won't let me turn anything in. I have one assignment due tomorrow and then my final is due on Sunday. Hopefully I can get those turned in. But if the website is still down there is nothing that I can do, I have a reference number that says that I tried to get on but was unable to. I'm still gonna work on my final so that if the website is back up on Sunday I can turn it in. The site has been down since last Sunday, so we'll see if they can get it fixed soon.
Well as for everything else it has been going really good. I am having a great time at work. The people, for the most part, are awesome. There are of course some people that I have problems with, one of them is my main boss, her name is Lucy, and she is a bitch. I don't like that word usually, but it fits her to a T. She is very good at telling someone not to do something and then doing that same thing herself. And telling management will do no good, they just laugh about that kind of stuff, especially since they do not see what we see.
Well I'm done complaining now, so I'll just post a picture of two or three

More about work and school
Well I finished my last set of classes, I passed them both, one not so great, I got a D, the other I got a B. But with UoP, University of Phoenix, you only need a D to pass classes. Now I am taking my last class to get my Associates in Human Services Management. I do not know how I am going to do this, I get home from work and all I wanna do is sit on the couch and veg, then when I go to bed getting my computer out seems like way to much work, so I just lay in bed and read then I pass out. If I don't go to work until later in the day I basically do the same thing, I veg until it is time to get up and get ready for work. Like today. I don't have to be to work until 1pm, and I don't get off until 10pm. I need to get up and get in the shower and I really should work on discussion questions because I'm already failing this class.
Work is going great though. I am exhausted all the time, but I really like all the people I work with. There are a lot of different age groups that I work with anywhere from really old to under 18. I am a cashier and for once I am not the youngest one there. At the other Wal-Mart I worked at I was the youngest, now there are kids that are as young as 16 working up there. I have met one or two that are kind of rude, but I think it is just in some people's nature to be rude, and they do not know how to fix it, or care to. But for the most part there are a lot of awesome people up there. I like most of the CSM's, my favorite is leaving, today is her last day, she lives far away, a 2 hour round trip, and with gas prices she just can't afford to work anymore.
Oh that reminds me!!! Gas prices are crazy! It took $60 to fill up the tank in the van, and it wasn't even all the way empty, we go to Wal-Mart and get gift cards with $200 a month and hopefully that will last us the month for gas. If we do that then it makes the gas 3cents off at the gas station at Wal-Mart. It's not a lot of money off but when gas prices are at $3.84 all over town and $3.78 at Wal-Mart then an extra 3cents off it really makes a difference. I swear that right now that is where Wal-Mart is making all of their money.
Well I think that's enough talk about money and poor me stuff. Here have a cute pic of Elliott, since Kendra isn't posting lately I'll post cute pics of her, and one of Elias while I'm at it.
And here are some of Gabe.
Ok well now I'm done.

Work and School
Well I now have a job. I work at Wal~Mart again. I put in the application online on Sunday, on Monday I got a call asking if I could come in on Tuesday for an interview. I was there at 9:30 for my 10:00 interview, I didn't get called back for it until 10:25, by 10:39 I was done with my first interview and waiting for my second, I got all 3 interviews done and over with by 11. I went and did the drug test and they said if that and the back ground check all came back clear then there was an orientation on Thursday. I got a call yesterday and they asked if I could make it to the orientation today from 9am to 4pm. I of course said yes, and I started my first day of work today. I was freaking out this morning. I couldn't eat, I couldn't drink, all I wanted to do was go back to bed and hide, but I didn't, I took deep breaths and I made it through.
I know that tomorrow will be better, for me anyway, for school maybe not as much.
I am in week 8 of a 9 week, the second to last course that I am taking, and I just started working. I think I'm screwed for school. I hope that I can work on my homework and keep up with it. I'm afraid I will be to tired to work on it when I get home from work.
Gabe seemed very cranky and clingy when I got home today. He threw a fit when he was told to get pajamas on, he never throws fits, it was crazy.
Well that's about all I have to say today. Here are some cute pics of Gabe to make everyone smile.

Cinnamon Rolls
Well today has been a long day, it didn't start out that way, but it sure has been that way. Gabe had a sleep over in my room last night, since Laura had one at her friends house, and he woke up at 8:30 then cuddled up with me and we slept until 9:30. It was a very nice change, I don't see it being a constant thing though, unfortunately.
Well we got up and then at 10:30 we woke up mom and made her get up, then at 11 we went and picked up Laura from her sleep over. Dad got home from a shooting match for ROTC around 11:30 and we have been cleaning and making cinnamon rolls ever since.
We started cleaning at 11:30 and didn't finish until 5, then we started making the rolls.
Here they are all done. They look yummy don't they? Well I wouldn't know if they are or not because I haven't tried them yet. I'm eating dinner first, then maybe I'll try one. We are having biscuits and sausage gravy.
Well other than cleaning and making cinnamon rolls, we have had a pretty good day. Other than the fact that I have been cranky and so had Laura, so that doesn't go well, but it was okay today because Mom was in a good mood, so that balanced everything out.
Well I have to go and give Gabe a bath for church tomorrow.

Oklahoma
Well Mom, Gabe, and I are getting ready to go to Oklahoma City tomorrow. I don't think I can handle the stress, I seem to be freaking out about little tiny things, and so is Mom, which just makes me freak out more. I think once we get on the road I'll be fine and everything will smooth out but right now I'm freaking out about everything.
Crazy brain is messing up my mind!!!
Good bye for now

Scottish Irish Fair
Today is the Scottish Irish Fair here in Texas. It is a pretty big event. Dad is there with the two kids. he is there because he has to do things with the ROTC kids so he decided to take the kids and give me and mom a break. We keep getting pictures from dad so I figured I would post them.
They sell kilts there, and dad found one that is in his size, he wanted to know if mom wanted him to buy it. LOL!
Gabe said he had to have a tattoo. So here is his first tattoo. I can't tell what it is from the picture but I think it has something to do with Iron Man, since that is his favorite super hero.
Laura's tattoo. When dad sent this pic he said Laura got ran over by puppies. LOL
The Fair is a place where most of West Texas gets together and they bring their pure bred dogs, Scottish and Irish dogs, to the fair to make moms and dads cringe, because they know that all their kids will want one. Well here is one.
Here is another one.
So the kids are having a great time at the fair with Papa and Mom and I are having a great time at home.
It is gonna be another really hot day today, around 86. It is only 1:50 right now and it is already 84 degrees here. I think today is a great day for air conditioning. I love air conditioning.

First Blog
Ok so I have never done this before, so here goes.
So mom had her surgery on Monday and we haven't been able to get out and get back to the gym, so today we decided that we would go to the duck pond and walk around it a few times. We took the kid's scooters and let them go ahead of us and wear their little butts out. They seemed to have a good time, and I'm hoping they will sleep good tonight, maybe sleep in tomorrow, but it's Saturday so dad is home so it doesn't really matter if they sleep in.
Well Mom and I will be going to Oklahoma City on Tuesday. It will be a 7 hour drive, so not too bad, I just hope that Mom can drive some of it, I can't drive a full 7 hours by myself. Well I probably could if I had too, but I don't want too.
Well I'll say how Gabe is doing.
Gabe is 4, just turned 4, and he is to smart for his britches, I'm hoping to get him into preschool in September, we'll see. He loves to go out and play in the backyard and jumping on the trampoline with the sprinkler under it. Today it has gotten up to 85 degrees so both Gabe and Laura have been outside playing in the water since we got home from the pond.
Laura has been doing awesome in school lately. Her teacher had a meeting with all of us because she was worried about Laura's reading skills, turns out Laura has dyslexic tendencies. So she is now in a special class to help her learn to read with dyslexia. It has helped her immensely.
Mom is doing great. Her hand is healing perfectly, as much as we can tell with her brace on.
Dad is also doing good.
I am also doing good, I have about 14 weeks left in school until I get my Associates in Human Services Management. I can't wait!!!!
Well that's all I have for now. I'll try to get on tomorrow and write some more.
